Opinions Needed: Storing chips in vaults/safes...

I recently purchased a large safe and it currently is in a portion of my house that is not controlled very well by the air conditioner. I've monitored the temp inside the safe and it has been a constant 89 degrees the past couple of days.

Is this too hot for storing chips?

Will they warp at this temp?

It sounds like it will be costly to get the safe moved to my basement (where I would like it to be). As a result, I am thinking about leaving it where it is at.

What do you guys (and gals) think?

btw, I got this thing for $75! Pretty good price I thought!
